The BA Sustainable Development Studies, Youth Capacity Building, and African Relations Support Program is organizing a workshop entitled “Sustainable Development for a Better African Vision” on Saturday, 24 January 2026, in the Lecture Hall of the Library’s Conference Center.
The workshop aims to build the capacities of young people in the areas of sustainable development. Students from various African countries, such as Sudan, South Sudan, Malawi, Madagascar, Comoros, and Egypt, will take part in the workshop to exchange experiences and ideas and enhance cooperation among the continent's youth.
Nearly 200 students from Alexandria, Cairo, Ain Shams, and Tanta universities are participating in the workshop as part of the “African Youth for Development” program launched by the BA in 2011, which aims to empower young people, build their capacities, and promote cultural and scientific communication among the youth of the African continent. The BA continues to provide full support by offering educational spaces and diverse scientific resources, and organizing workshops and training programs that enable African youth to develop their skills and engage in practical experiences that enrich their knowledge and broaden their horizons in various fields.
