The BA Participates in the Third Arab Forum for Astronomy and Space Sciences

Alexandria—Dr. Omar Fikry, Head of Shows and Programs Unit at the BA Planetarium Science Center (PSC), participated in the Third Arab Forum for Astronomy and Space Science that was recently held in Constantine, Algeria, in cooperation with Arab Union for Astronomy and Space Sciences (AUASS).
Dr. Fikry’s lecture was nominated as the best lecture in the field of astronomy education and the simplification of space sciences. The Lecture highlighted Arab contributions in astronomy and underlined prominent Arab scientists. Dr. Fikry also presented astrologic activities at the PSC, the new Planetarium shows, and the 20th International Planetarium Society (IPS) Conference in June 2010, the largest and most significant event in the world of planetariums, hosted at the BA.
