“The Fall of Al-Andalus” in a Lecture at the BA

The BA Manuscript Center will hold a lecture on Thursday, 13 March 2008, entitled “The Fall of Al-Andalus” by Mohamed Abdel Samei, Manuscript Center and chaired by Dr. Youssef Zeidan, Director of the Manuscript Center and Museum. This lecture is part of the cultural season of the Manuscript Center.
The lecture tackles the Islamic civilization in Al-Andalus, which witnessed a boom in various fields of science, knowledge, and arts and the emergence of scholars who helped enrich human knowledge, and were the foundation of modern European renaissance.
The lecture will start at 14:00 hrs at the BA Conference Center, Lectures Hall.
